When Harry's parents were alive his mom had a little rose garden and she used to take him to it. While she would be working on it he would play right beside her with his toys and sometimes he would pick on but she didn't care that he did. Harry had been so busy with school and everything he forgot about the garden the school had so he decided to go and visit it.
When he got there he was surprised that it was so huge his moms was like a little lady bug compared to this one. Over the years he had seen his parents for a second but hadn't had the time to talk and things like that. Studying to be a auror was harder then he had thought but he had his dads determination and he was going to do it.
Harry sat on the ground and looked at all the roses trying not to cry he touched them and smelt them they smelt good and felt soft to the touch. He thought at least he could pick one and so he did and held it in his hand by this time was getting cheered up. Harry felt so blessed to be here at hogwarts and to be loved by people unlike the Dursleys just then he heard somebody behind him.

Twirling her wand in her hand, Katie wandered around the school grounds. It was nice outside and she didn't feel like sitting in the common room all day, so she decided to go the courtyard. There was usually something to do there. So, before she left she slipped on her Gryffindor-House robes. She was so used to wearing her robes around school now, or her quidditch stuff.
When she got to the courtyard she first saw the garden, it was as it had been last year, not a thing had change, except there was maybe more flowers, but other then that. She walked over to the crystaly-white water fountain, the center peice of the courtyard, but as she was twirling her wand, she dropped it in the water. "Oops," she muttered pulling it out of the water and shaking it to dry it. In the refection of the water she noticed she wasn't there alone, "Hey Harry," she said with a smile. |

Harry turned around to see who was there and saw that it was Katie bell he had played qudditch with her and she was a good player in his opinion. They both played on the same house team he stood up and walked over to her "Hey Katie and how did you get your wand wet" he said smiling harry was a nice guy always has been. He pulled out his wand and used the drought charm to dry up her want for her "There that is better" he said putting up his wand. "So what brings you out here" he said sitting on the bench.

"Dropped it in the fountain," she said staring at her wand, and suddenly the water that was on her wand and dripping on her hand was gone, "Thanks," she said putting her wand back in the pocket of her robes. "Nothing in particular. Just didn't want to be inside right now," she said looking up at the sky. It's gonna suck that quidditch is cancelled this year. No more cup. But theres always next year. "What about you?" she asked leaning against the fountain across from the bench.

Harry was stunned he didn't know that qudditch was canceled "I didn't know that they canceled it man I couldn't wait to play either" he said sadden. Harry wasn't the kind of person to lie but it would be difficult to explain why he was out there "Oh I just like the flowers and I wanted to come and see them" he felt bad for lieing. Harry was thinking hard about what he was going to do instead of qudditch "What are you going to do with all your spare time" he said.

"Oh," she said, "Hmm not to sure yet, maybe I'll actually study and hang out with friends. Eh there'll be something to do. With the other two new school and stuff," she said with a shrug. "But yeah, Professor Dumbledore mentioned that there will be no more inter-house quidditch cup this year. But the tournement should be exciting," she said. Katie had never seen one of the tournements, she heard about it breifly... but it kinda sucked that she wasn't old enough to compete.

Harry knew what he would have to do homework and lots of it he came outside to get away from it. The teachers always gave so much homework he would rather be in the tournament but he knew that he couldn't be in there. "Do the teachers give you as much homework as they do us" he said counting on his fingers of how much he had homework in his room he lost count at nine.

Katie shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe they give us more because I'm in Fifth Year, or less, or maybe the same amount," she said, realizing she was like of going on and on. "Why? Got a lot?" she asked. It was only the beginning of the year, hopefully they wouldn't get too much homework, with the tournement and all that. She couldn't help but wonder who would be picked as Hogwarts Champion. She wanted it to be a Gryffindor, but as long as their school won it would be good enough for her.

"Yea they did over the summer and now they want us to do follow up things I have a headache thinking about it" he said rubbing his forehead he really did have a headache. Harry at least had a pretty good summer the dursleys didn't say much to him it was like heaven he smirked alittle. "So what did you do for summer" he said playing with the grass.

"Oh," she said nodding to the first thing he said. She didn't have much. But she sometimes didn't hand in the homework that seh was supposed to do. "Well my mom got a cabin at this lake while I was at school, and we went to visit it this summer, it's pretty small, not used to it after being in this huge castle all year," she said. The cabin was actually nice. She met some people around there, walked around and talked, it was fun.

Harry had never done anything like that but when he left hogwarts he was planning to live in the country and be surrounded with the ones that he loved. Not that he had any right now he was just starting another school year and it felt like he was starting form first year it was unusual. "Have you made any plans for after hogwarts when I leave I am going to be a auror" he said proudly.

Katie thought about it for a second, she actually never really thought about it. There was a lot of things she wanted to do, "Maybe quidditch player," she said with a shrug. "No to sure yet," but one thing she did know, she would live somewhere in the wizarding world. Not the muggle one. Or maybe just somewhere in London closer to Diagon Alley. She was tired of the muggle world. She'd always lived there and she wanted a change.

"That would be interesting to do" he said it would be fun and never boring having to do matches with other people. "I read up on the tournament and it said that there is a ball" he said thinking that would be hard asking girls to.

"Really? Wow. This Tournement must be pretty important. Well it would be more important to the winners then anyone else," she said, kind of thinking outloud, but oh well. She hadn't learned about the tournement at all, except what she heard from random people in the halls. And that wasn't much to go by on. "It's going to get pretty complicated with everything going on at once," she said
