Veronica woke up earlier than usual. Everyone was still sleeping in her dorm, and she decided to not wake them up, since all of them were in a bad mood in the morning. She changed to her robs, combed her hair, washed her face and went down to the common room.
Veronica stopped there to talk to some people, and laugh a bit before finally going to the Great Hall, holding her books.
She could see that it was a bit rainy and windy today, but she wouldn't go outside, so it was okay for her. After a while she walked to the Slytherin Table. Only a few people were there, it was still early and many were sleeping or still deciding to get up. When Veronica sat down a put her books where they wouldn't get dirty, she grabbed a toast and started to eat it, a bit slowly because she was still waking up.

Alaina had woken up early for a change, not being able to sleep at all last night. After some tossing and turning to try and fall back asleep, she just gave up on it and got out of her bed, washed herself up and changed into her robes, slinging her bag with books over her shoulder, as she left the common room and left on her way to the Great Hall for some food.
On the way over she had to push her way through some annoying first years that refused to step aside, until she finally entered the Great Hall, walking down the steps and letting her eyes gaze over the Slytherin table where she spotted the familar face of Veronice, with a small smile on her face she walked over to her and sat down opposite her. "Hey, how was your summer?" she asked with a small grin, putting her bag down on the bench next to her.

Hanna-Lee tossed in her bed, she always had a hard time sleeping and today was no exception. After tossing for another few minutes she decided to get up, Hanna-Lee tossed the covers back and went to the bathroom. She began to get ready to face the day, after about five minutes she came out in full robes, hair done, and make up done. Hanna-Lee went to her trunk and grabbed her books, she made one last mirror check and made her way out of the dorms. As she got into the commonroom she noticed there was people up as well, well at least she wasn't the only one having a hard time sleeping. Hanna-Lee talked to a few people before she decided it was time to eat, well her stomach decided that for her. Hanna-Lee left the commonroom and headed up to the Great Hall.
As she left the commonroom and headed up to the main part of the school she noticed it was an ugly day. Hanna-Lee shrugged it didn't matter tried to stay indoors, unless she was really bored. When she made it to the Great Hall she noticed there were a good amount of people, Hanna-Lee went in and sat down at the Slytherin table.
As she sat she noticed Veronica, Hanna-Lee decided it was the best place to sit. Hanna-Lee knew Veronica pretty well, they had met in their first year and she could trust her. She walked down to where she was sitting "Hey mind if I sit?" she asked putting her books down. Hanna-Lee looked at her books as she waited for Veronica to answer

After a while of nibbling her toast and think about stupid things, Veronica saw Alaina sitting in front of her, which made her smile at her. "Hey Alaina." she said to her. "My summer was pretty good, i went on vacation with my parents. What about you?" she asked her. Veronica knew Alaina for a long time, it was good to see her there, but then she saw Hanna-Lee which made smile again at her.
Hanna-Lee was another friend that she had since reme, ber to go to Hogwarts. "For me..." she said with a slight smile while grabbing a cup and putting some orange juice there.

Alaina looked up when Hanna-Lee came over and gave her a small smile as well. She had known her since her second or third year, she couldn't even really remember. They were pretty good friends, so she simply shrugged when she asked if she could sit down, even if she didn't ask her the question.
"My vacation was pretty boring to be honest. I didn't go on vacation at all this year, but I was busy moving into our new home. I insisted on doing the decorating myself instead of letting the house elves do it, cause otherwise I'd be even more bored," she explained. "Where did you go?" she asked, referring to her vacation, as she grabbed some toast and put it on her plate.

Hanna-Lee smiled at both girls and sat down, she picked up a peice of toast as well and began to eat it. Hanna-Lee listened to their conversation about vacation, she hadn't done much now that she thought of it. Hanna-Lee put down her toast and poured herself some orange juice as they talked. Hanna-Lee sipped her juice quietly, she waited for them to stop talking so she could jump in. Though she hadn't done much this year, with her sister getting a job and all her parents were more focus on that. Hanna-Lee didn't care at home she was loner, she went back to eating her toast as they sat there and caught up.

"Oh that's pretty cool, and a good way to entertain ourselves." she said with a smile to Alaina. "I went to France. My parents thought that I should meet people from different countries for some odd reason and we never went there, so yeah." she said with a shrug.
Veronica stopped talking for a while, to take a sip of her orange juice and a nibble of her toast. then she asked to Hanna-Lee. "What about you? Did go somewhere or did you just stay here waiting for the school start?"

Alaina chuckled slightly when Veronica mentioned her parents wanting her to meet people from foreign countries. "Well you never know it might just come in handy, having some connections," she said with a sly grin. "Our new house is so cool, more like a mansion really. You should come visit sometime when we have another one of our 'beloved' parties," she said, with sarcasm to the beloved part.
Alaina took a few bites of her toast as she turned her attention to Hanna-Lee when Veronica asked her those questions, as she sat quietly, watching them, while taking some sips of her orange juice. She hated pumpkin juice, so she had to settle for orange juice instead, but she didn't complain.

Hanna-Lee smiled slightly "I sadly stayed home, my parents were really focused on helping my sister get a job. So I didn't do much I did visit my grandma in the country, but that's nothing too exciting" she replied shrugging. This was the first summer Hanna-Lee spent at home, but it wasn't that big of a deal for her. She smiled at them waiting to see what they had to say, she really had no more to add. "Yeah the connections will be cool, but not now I still got one year for that." she said with a small chuckle. "And yeah, i can't wait for those parties, specially if someone invites Ministry workers or anything like that." she said with a small laugh, which was true, adukt talks were boring as hell.
"Oh, that sounds a bit boring." she said to Hanna-Lee. "Well, at least you got someone to talk that you weren't 'forced' to friends of." she said with a shrug and smiled slightly.

"I wonder what trouble is gonna happen this year," she said randomly, picking at her toast. "Ever since that Potter kid came here every year there has been some kind of drama or adventure, but I'm never int he adventure unfortunatly," she shrugged slightly, as she let her eyes move back and forth between Hanna-Lee and Veronica.
Alaina wanted adventure to find her in one way or another, but for some reason her past years here at Hogwarts went by remotely uneventful, besides the usual fights and picking on the first years, which seemed to be one of her favorite things to do in her spare time nowadays.

Hanna-Lee nodded as she picked up her toast again "A Party would be amazing" she noted. Hanna-Lee had enough thinking about her lame summer, it was time to move on it was a new year. She looked up when Alaina mentioned trouble, there was nothing she loved more "Hopefully something good, no need for a boring year" she replied tearing a peice of toast off. How fun would that be to have a year that wasn't uneventful, Hanna-Lee was dying for a year like that. Hanna-Lee nodded a yes to what Alaina said about Potter "I know what you mean, that would be amazing to have an adventure of our own" she replied ripping another bit of toast off.

"Oh Dumbledore talked about the Triwizard thing, didn't he?" she asked she wasn't really sure because he made her sleepy with his long speeches about how friendship and studies are good and another stuff that Veronica thought that it was useless. "Probably there will be trouble." she said with a smirk.
"Now that Potter kid, I don't know. He's weird and dumb. Maybe he needs attention because of his parents. Heck if I know." she said with a shrug. "It would be cool if we had an adventure, but how are we supposed to do that?" she said before taking a sip of her juice.

"Yeah, he did, It oughts to be exciting. I bet someone is going to be dumb enough to enter their name, when they're not even old enough. I bet Dumbledore has that goblet prtected with some spells," she said, finishing up her toast, washing it away with some more sips of her pumpkin juice.
Alaina smirked slightly to how they reacted to the mention of Potter. "I guess if we want adventure we should at least break some rules... which won't be much of a problem. Perhaps there are some secret rooms in this castle, or something in the Forbidden Forest... it has to be forbidden for a reason, and maybe it's not just because of the creatures living in it," she shrugged slightly.

Hanna-Lee stopped ripping her toast when she heard Veronica mention the Triwizard tournament. She smirked that would certainly bring some trouble, if Hanna-Lee heard anything Dumbledore said in the past six years it was that. She sat there thinking about how much trouble that could bring till she heard Potter's name mentioned again "I think your right, he's just attention hungry" she added to Veronica's statement. Hanna-Lee picked up her juice and sipped it slowly, they were right they needed to have an adventure as well. "Well what kind of Slytherin are we that we don't break rules?" she asked putting her juice down and staring at her toast. Hanna-Lee couldn't decide if she was done or not "We need to figure something out, I mean there is so much we could do. How many hidden passages do you reckon this school has?" she asked deciding that the toast was already getting boring.
