Triwizard Years Rules
-I know this may seem like alot and pretty over welming, but I think it's pretty reasonable, it just clarifys some stuff so I don't get so many PM's asking the same question over and over. So from all the PMs I got from my previous sites, I have made sure I have all the essentials here. But if you have any questions feel free to PM me.-
1. Basics
- Please respect everyone out of character, be as mean as you want in character though.
- You are allowed to have multiple characters, just make a different account for each and keep them all active. Only if you have twins you can have two characters on one account.
- Save web-chat for OOC. And when talking out of character, in character please place them in brackets (()) or some other way showing that you are talking out of character.
- Only advertise in the SPAM section please.
- You can be in two places at once, like say one person you are roleplaying with is offline, then you can jump into another thread and not have to wait.
2. Characters
- Your username can be anything you wish, but your Display name MUST be your characters First and Last name.
- You must stay active with your characters. I can take them away if you are a cannon that needs to be there for the main plot.
- Please no perfect characters, they get really annoying and untolerable, these are otherwise known as "Mary-Sues" or "Gary Stews".
- You may only start roleplaying until after your applications is approved, but until then you can do other things like in the OOC area and claim your celebrity.
- Claim your celebrity right away upon joining. Otherwise someone might take it. Even if you haven't decided which character you are going to play, you can reserve it and leave your username beside it.
- Only one main canon character per person, so more people can have the chance to be one.
3. Signatures
- I have no limit, but please keep the signatures at a reasonable size. If I think it's too big then I will ask you to change it, simple as that.
- I would prefer you have a signature but it is not a must, it would just be easier to picture in the actual roleplay if we know what your character looks like.
- No nudity in signatures, it will be imediantly deleted and I will PM you about it. No one needs to see that.
4. Posting/Roleplaying
- Swearing is allowed, everyone does it I'm pretty sure...
- Mature content is also allowed, but you must put a warning in the title if it is starting to lead more towards the 'intimate' side.
- There are no rules on length, this site is welcome to all members. So don't get all pissy when someone doesn't write as much as you'd like them to, but if someone writes a really long and detailed post either don't reply back or reply back with something reasonable, that gets quite annoying.
- No double posting.
- Post in third person and in past-tense.
- No God-Modding or Force-Play.
